This button-press causes one-or-the-other of the following radio behaviors:

When the Radio Wide Volume Adjust Tone Offset field is disabled, this button-press allows the radio-user to sample the radio's current volume level for incoming transmissions unmuting to the radio's speaker.

Or

When the Radio Wide Volume Adjust Tone Offset field is enabled, this button-press allows the radio-user to sample the current volume level of the radio's alert tones.
